After much contemplation Sri Lanka arrived at Lahore to play against the home team Pakistan. But, team Pakistan proved its optimal dominance as they clinched the T20 series by 3-0. The team is successful to revive its form in front of an equally reviving cricket crazy crowd. The last T20 match at Lahore turned in favor of Pakistan with the strike from Shoaib Malik, the old gun of the team. Pakistan's score of 180 was bolstered with the half century knock of the batsman. Malik emerged as not only the Player of the Match, but also as the Player of the Series for his marksmanship with the bat. Meanwhile. Pakistan imposed its holistic cricket prowess on Sri Lanka throughout the tour. In the preceding ODI, Sri Lanka lost by 5-0.

After the 2009 attack on Sri Lanka, Pakistan became isolated from the international cricket fraternity. Now, Sri Lanka's tour to the same country for a successful match, is certainly a massive step on the positive direction of Pakistani Cricket. For the nation's cricketers it was not just a match. As describe by Malik, it was a feeling of "too much happiness", such that, "you can't describe that feeling."
