Recently, Ben Stokes gave an interview to Sky Sports and an English cricket fan lashed hard at him for preferring IPL over his country. "Chasing a poung note again, once back in an England shirt will be too tired to bowl," the Twitter user wrote to criticize Stokes.

However, Stokes came up with a fitting reply to silence the critic as he quoted the tweet asking, "When have I ever too tired to bowl in a England shirt pal?"

In the recently concluded ODI series against India, Ben Stokes was the second highest run-getter for England, with 135 runs under his belt in three matches at an average of 45. In Tests, however, Stokes wasn't up to the mark but still scored 203 runs, only behind his skipper Joe Root.
