India's skipper Virat Kohli, who became a father earlier this year, posted a picture of his wife Anushka Sharma holding their princess daughter Vamika on the occasion of International Women's day. Stressing on the strength and dignity of women, Kohli wrote: "Seeing the birth of a child is the most spine chilling, unbelievable and amazing experience a human being can have. After witnessing that, you understand the true strength and divinity of women and why God created life inside them."
"It's because they are way stronger than us men. Happy Women's Day to the most fiercely, compassionate and strong woman of my life and to the one who's going to grow up to be like her mother. And also a Happy Women’s Day to all the amazing women of the world," he added.
Anushka Sharma gave birth to Vamika in January and since then she hasn't revealed the face of her daughter. The duo wants their daughter to keep a low profile on social media and thus have asked people to respect their privacy.

While revealing the name of her daughter, Anushka had shared the first photo of Vamika last month. In the caption, she wrote, "We have lived together with love, presence, and gratitude as a way of life but this little one, Vamika has taken it to a whole new level! Tears, laughter, worry, bliss – emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes! Sleep is elusive but our hearts are SO full. Thanking you all for your wishes, prayers, and good wishes."
In reply, Virat Kohli, who never fails showcase his love for his wife and Bollywood actress, commented on the pic, "My whole world in one frame.
Currently, Virat Kohli is in Ahmedabad for the limited-overs series against England. Anushka and baby Vamika have also joined him in the hotel and are likely to stay till the end of the tour.
