Recently, Indian skipper Virat Kohli crossed the 100-million landmark on Instagram, becoming the first cricketer to achieve the feat. Kohli posted a video on Instagram, thanking all his followers for reaching the milestone together.
The video clip starts off reading 'Milestone Reached Together', followed by Kohli's profile and a series of his videos, in which he has put his favorite memories. "You have made this journey beautiful. Feeling blessed and grateful for all the love. Thank you," India's most followed person wrote in the caption.
Although the Indian skipper is undergoing a century drought, this century of million followers will please his fans. Kohli also became the first Asian and first Indian to cross 100 million. In terms of athletes, Kohli joined the elite club consisting of Juventus footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) star Neymar, and Argentina's Lionel Messi, thus becoming the fourth most followed sportsperson on Instagram.
Virat Kohli hasn't had a three-figure score in his last 35 international innings, the longest he has been without scoring a 100 for India.
