New Zealand spinner Ish Sodhi has been appointed as Rajasthan Royals' Liaison Officer, the franchise confirmed on Friday, February 26. Sodhi's new job will be to work alongside the team's Director of Cricket Kumar Sangakkara and Jake Lush McCrum, the Chied Operating Officer. He will be creating an environment for the players as well as the support staff for match days.
However, Rajasthan Royals have assigned him a new role in which he will be working closely with the management.

Welcoming Sodhi to the team, McCrum said: "Ish has never really left the Royals family, and I’m delighted he can be on the ground with us for this season. He embodies the Royals way, has incredible positive energy and will add so much value across the board."

The New Zealand spinner will also be responsible for creating numerous team events and also some engaging content to keep Royals fans entertained.
In IPL 2020, Rajasthan Royals were at the bottom of the points table, having lost eight matches and won six. For 2021, they have bought Chris Morris, making him the most expensive buy in IPL history.
