Since the past few months, Rishabh Pant has taken the cricket world for a storm with his exploits in the middle order. His glory days in this season started in Sydney where he was about to pull off the greatest Test match victory. However, he got out to a wide ball from Nathan Lyon and India had to settle for a draw.

But, Rishabh didn't put his head down as he exploited the Australian bowlers yet again at their 32-year-old fortress in Brisbane, where he stood right till the end in the run chase and took his country home, winning the series 2-1.
Rishabh's exploits not only made Indians fall in love with him, but also some overseas legends. One such was former West Indies skipper Clive Lloyd, who has won two consecutive World Cups for West Indies.
"I am now admiring young Rishabh Pant," Lloyd said while praising the current Indian Cricket Team. "They (India) are a much better side because they have variety, the players are fitter and more professional."
"Yeah I would think so (whether this Indian team is the best). Don’t forget they came from behind most times in Australia and that was excellent. Judging by their performances from that series you can say that this is the best Indian team ever," Lloyd said.
Speaking about the roles of Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah, the West Indies legend said, "Virat Kohli is a tremendous cricketer."
"Bumrah, on the other hand, is thinking all the time and can surprise you any time. He can bowl the vicious bouncer, he can get the ball to swing around, he bowls the slower one. That is why India are where they are at the moment. He can provide breakthroughs at a time when the side is struggling," Lloyd concluded,
