Marnus Labuschagne pulls a 'Jonty Rhodes' style run-out in Marsh Cup
During the Marsh Cup game between Queensland and Tasmania, Marnus Labuschagne stunned everyone with his fielding effort. Running in from the gully region, Marnus picked the ball with his right hand and threw the ball at the stumps while diving forward and managed to run opposition skipper Tom Andrews out.
Billy Stanlake, the bowler, bowled a length ball and Jordan Silk tapped it to the on-side and took off for a quick single. Lesser did the non-striker know that he would be dismissed by a stunning effort from Labuschagne.
With the bat, however, Labuschagne failed to fire as he was sent packing on just 18. But, Queensland won the match by four wickets, courtesy of Usman Khawaja's magnificent 93 off 106 balls.
