Australia's explosive batsman Glenn Maxwell posted a birthday wish for his fiancee. Maxwell took to Instragram to wish Vini Raman through a story, writing "Happy Birthday To My Amazing Fiancee". The lovely couple recently completed one year after getting engaged to each other in February last year.
The right-handed batsman has been living the life of a fairy tale as he was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL 2021 Auction for a whopping INR 14.25 crore. Maxwell was released by his former franchise Kings XI Punjab after a poor run in IPL 2020. In the season, he scored a mere 108 runs across 13 matches at a poor average of 15.42.
Maxwell is currently playing the T20I series against New Zealand in New Zealand. After two poor knocks, Maxwell regained his batting mojo in the third T20I, where he scored a quickfire 70 off just 31 balls to take Australia beyond 200. Maxwell's fiery knock included eight fours and five maximums, including a mammoth 28-run over against Jimmy Neesham.

Speaking to AAP, Maxwell said that the upcoming IPL season with Royal Challengers will be of another level. Maxwell also spoke about playing with Virat Kohli and how Kohli inspires him.
"It [RCB stint] is going to be next level. He's (Virat) been the pinnacle of the game for a while as a multi-format player from Tests all the way to T20s. He's been able to adapt his game, dominate for a long period of time and deal with the Indian pressure of being their captain and their best player," Maxwell said.
"I am looking forward to watching him go about his work, not just in games but in training, and hopefully tapping into some of the leadership stuff and try and learn off him," Maxwell was quoted as saying by AAP.
