Former Australia spinner Brad Hogg feels that off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin deserves to be in India's ODI squad as he adds depth to the batting line-up and is also a wicket-taking option. As far as Ashwin's ODI performance is concerned, he has grabbed 150 wickets in 109 innings with one four-wicket haul. Ashwin last played an ODI in 2017 against West Indies. Since then, India have chosen the duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal in limited-overs formats.
