In a strange turn of events, a local cricketer in Bhopal was awarded 5-litres of petrol as a Man of the Match award. The petrol prices in India are rocketing up and the common man is finding it harder to live. Ever since January, the petrol and diesel prices have hit an all-time high across all the states. To make matters worse, the prices of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders were also hiked by Rs 25 on Monday.
A recently concluded tournament in Bhopal brought into limelight the incresing prices of petrol. Taking a dig at petrol prices, a cricketer, who became the Man of the Match, was awarded 5-litres of petrol as a unique gift.

Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh, hosted the final of a domestic tournament organized in the state by Congress leader Manoj Shukla.
The final was played between Sunrisers Eleven and Shagir Tarik Eleven. Salauddin Abbasi, the man of the match, was impressive throughout the game and took his team Sunrisers Eleven to glory.
