Players Swapped In and Out of Ranji Tournament, Gambhir & Mishra back to Domestic Circuit

The Punjab Team is certain to boost its games in the current Ranji season as it has included Harbhajan Singh as the captain. The international player will be in the tournament for the Group A match between Tamil Nadu and Punjab. The player was off from the tournament due to personal reasons and has returned recently. The off spinner will take the captainship from Yuvraj Singh, who will skip two matches in the tournament because of his wedding. The two match, which the player will miss are with Tamil Nadu and Gujarat. Yuvraj has been the top scorer in the season for the team. The batsmen had 672 runs so far. He smashed his career best runs of 260 in the match with Baroda.

Gautam Gambhir is back with his Delhi team. The batsmen will now lead the squad in the tournament. The team is set to play with Rajasthan with Gambhir as the captain. The player was replaced in the international team, that is playing the test with England currently. Shikhar Dhawan will also play in the match before being included in the international squad. He was injured in a test against New Zealand and was on rest. Now as the player has recovered, he will have to play a first-class match to qualify again for the international team. Thus, Dhawan is included in the Delhi team to prove his fitness.

Group C team Haryana will have Amit Mishra to play in their campaign against Goa. The leg spinner is released from the international squad and is replaced by Jayant Yadav in the current fixture with England. In the first Test against England, the bowler performed excellent taking down three wickets. He has given the way out to Yadav, as the bowler was a debutant for the international test match. For the player, it is his first Ranji match of the season. In Group C, Haryana is placed in third second position following Andhra Pradesh.

Meanwhile, Karnataka might lose Vinay Kumar, the Captain, as the player is set for inclusion in the international squad. The bowler cum skipper is through a good form currently and had past 400 wickets mark in first class cricket. In the last match with Rajasthan, he had a nine-wicket haul. Vinay's last ODI instance in the international squad was three years before. He played in the campaign against Australia in 2012. He 32 years old player has worked hard to keep himself fit. He said that his main gold was to come back to the international team. On the other hand, David Mathias and Prasidh Krishna will be included in the team. It would be a debut for Krishna.
