He rarely performs upper body exercises as to play cricket there is immense need of lower body strength. Though Kohli is not buffed up with protein supplements he is the epitome of lean muscle body. He focuses on strength and conditioning exercises.
Virat Kohli’s Diet Plan:
Virat is a huge fan of home cooked food! The display of junk & fast foods could never lure him and hence, he follows neat eating habits not only satisfy his gut but also ensure enough calorie intake to maintain a healthy and fit body.
As a seafood lover, Virat prefers food that is rich in protein. Salmon, Sushi and Lamb Chops are his favourites alongside soups, salads and lightly-sautéed vegetables. The good protein intake and enough consumption of omega 3 fatty acids ensure muscle building, and no fat accumulation in the body. According to his childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma, Virat’s dedication to sports and restraint in food consumption is worth following, as he has completely taken out packaged beverages, carbs, oily and fatty foods from his diet. His munch time foods include dry fruits, wheat crackers and a cup of black coffee. Virat believes in eating food in the right quantity that is easily digestible.
He believes in staying hydrated which is the most important thing if one wants to maintain a fit and healthy body for which he drinks imported water to stay free from any water-borne diseases or health issues.
Virat Kohli puts in a lot of efforts in remaining fit and setting an example for the others. He is truly an inspiration for the youngsters.
