India win the last-over thriller! And they win the series 2-1. What an end to India's cricket season. We never would've hoped for a better match. Natarajan takes India home in the final over. Virat Kohli is pumped.
Earlier, Jos Buttler won the toss and elected to bowl first. England made only change, as Mark Wood replaced Tom Curran, while India brought in an extra pacer to replace Kuldeep Yadav.
Rohit and Dhawan started the innings on a positive note and crossed the 60-run mark inside 10 overs, thus showing the way they will bat. The duo brought up India's 100 in the 14th over before Adil Rashid sent Rohit Sharma packing with a googly.
Kohli walked in next and before he made any impact, Moeen Ali outfoxed him with a good, skidding delivery, dismantling his leg stump. The Indian skipper looked stunned as India lost three quick wickets, losing the momentum.
Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul started the rebuilding process. While Pant went for big shots, KL Rahul played the anchor role. But, on a down the leg full-toss, the latter fell, playing an out of the blue shot, holing out to Moeen Ali at short fine-leg.
The southpaw was dismissed after he passed his highest ODI score. Curran bowled a yorker and Pant wanted to work it to the leg-side but ended up getting a top edge which carried to Buttler.
Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya notched up his ODI fifty and looked all set to put up a big score.
However, the all-rounder was bowled round his legs by Ben Stokes. Shardul Thakur started hitting some massive shots before Mark Wood took his outside edge. In the 49th over, India were bundled for 329.
In reply, England got off to a flying start in the first over, but Bhuvi was quick to bounce back, breaching the defense of Jason Roy.
When Stokes was just about to settle in after a lifeline, Natarajan dismissed him with a full-toss. Buttler followed him on the back as he was trapped in front by Shardul Thakur.
Following this, Livingstone and Malan rescued England together before Shardul Thakur dismissed both of them.
Sam Curran brought up his maiden ODI fifty and took England close to India's total but that wasn't enough as Natarajan took India home in the last over.
