South Africa defeated Australia by six wickets in the second one-day after a superb performance by man of the match pacer Lungi Ngidi (6/58) and Janneman Malan (129 *) career debut century took an unbeatable lead of 2-0.
After 12 months South Africa won the first series. South Africa's chase the target of 272 runs and score 274 runs for four wickets in 48.3 overs. Heinrich Klaasen scored 51, JJ Smuts 41 and David Miller scored an unbeaten 37.
Australia were dismissed for 271 off the last ball. Captain Aaron Finch and D'Arcy Short scored 69-69, David Warner 35 and Mitchell Marsh scored 36 runs. Ngidi struck three of Australia's top four in the first spell and then three wickets in the final over of the innings. During this, he also completed 50 wickets. He achieved this feat in 26 matches and reached the fastest on this position for South Africa.
