Team India defeated Bangladesh by an innings and 46 runs in just three days in the first Pink Ball Test to win the two-match Test series 2–0. For the remaining two days, the Cricket Association of Bengal has decided to return money to the fans. CAB gave this information through a tweet on Monday.
On this CAB secretary Avishek Dalmiya said,“CAB has always stood by the cricket-loving people and have tried its best to provide them with the best of facilities. This time too, there would be no exception. It is our moral duty to refund amounts of the tickets for the last two days where no game is being played at all.”
The victory was decided on the second day when Bangladesh lost 152 runs for six wickets in front of the Indian pace trio. On Sunday, victory was sealed in just 47 minutes. India won their 12th consecutive series at home. At the same time, this is India's seventh consecutive win under Virat's captaincy.
Earlier, in the first Test match played at Holkar Stadium in Indore India defeated Bangladesh by an innings and 130 runs.
