Dawid Malan scored the first century of T20 career, scoring 103 runs in 51 balls. At the same time, English captain Eoin Morgan scored 91 runs in 41 balls. England's innings totalled 14 sixes, out of which Miller and Morgan put together 13 sixes.
Malan completed the first century of his T20 career in just 48 balls and became the batsman to hit the fastest century for England. However, Eoin Morgan missed his century and was dismissed for 91 runs in 41 balls. Morgan hit 7 sixes and 7 fours.
In response to England's target of 242 runs, the New Zealand team could score 165 runs in 17 overs and lost the match by a big margin of 76 runs. England equalized the series 2–2 with this victory.
