New Zealand announced their team for the three-match one-day series against India starting on 5 February. For the first time in the ODI squad by the New Zealand team selectors Kayle Jamieson was selected.
Kiwi fast bowlers Scott Kuggeleijn and Hamish Bennett have got a chance to return to the ODI team for the first time since 2017. At the same time, New Zealand team's most experienced fast bowlers Trent Boult, Lockie Ferguson and Matt Henry are out of the team due to serious injuries, while Tom Latham has been included in the 13-member ODI squad of New Zealand after recovering from injury.
