Team India batsman Karun Nair has completely recovered from the corona virus. Now he is all set to leave for UAE with his IPL team Kings XI Punjab next week. Karun Corona was found infected, but his report has come back negative in the investigation conducted on August 8.
Nair has beaten Corona after being in isolation for two weeks. However, he will have to go through three awake tests right now. The Kings XI team management has set this protocol before going to UAE. According to which all the players and support staff will have to undergo corona investigation thrice. Only those players will be able to fly with the team to the UAE, who will pass the Corona Test. According to recent news, Nair will first go to Delhi on a charter flight from Bangalore with some people and then from their more players will join him.
Nair has played 14 matches for Kings XI Punjab in which he has scored 306 runs and includes two half-centuries. His strike rate is 134.80.
Nair was the first high-profile Indian cricketer to be infected with Covid-19. This global epidemic has seen a great impact in India and the number of infected people has exceeded 2.3 million. This is the highest number after the US and Brazil. Due to this global epidemic, the Board of Control for Cricket in India had to shift this season of IPL to UAE.
Nair was the second member of the IPL to be transitioned to Covid-19. On Wednesday, Rajasthan Royals fielding coach Dishant Yagnik was also found to be Covid-19 positive.
The IPL has created a lengthy test process for players and support staff. In this, teams can start training only after completing the required test, weeklong quarantine in UAE. Also, according to local government rules, any outsider who comes to the UAE must have a corona negative report at least 96 hours in advance.
