The deciding match of the three-match series is to be played between India and West Indies at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Wednesday. India and West Indies teams are on par in the series by winning 1-1 matches. The team that wins the third T20 match will capture the series. Before the match, West Indies coach Phil Simmons criticized the fielding of the Indian team.
The Windies coach clearly said that for any team, dropping a catch is a reason for defeat. If a player misses a catch, it is just his fault and he cannot make any excuse for it. The catches have been dropped from the Indian team in both the first matches.
Phil clearly pointed to the Indian players and said, “You can't win after dropping a catch in a match. The player has to explain what was the reason. Is it because of the light, the reason for their way of taking the catch?” I don't like the excuse. I believe if you have missed the catch it's your fault. You can blame light but I think Work hard so that no catch get missed.”
