According to the BBC, Former England all-rounder Peter Walker died of a stroke. He was 84 years old. Walker played all his three Test matches for England against South Africa in 1960. He was able to score only 128 runs in his international career with 52 being his highest score. He took 697 catches in his first-class career with a record 656 for his home team Glamorgan. He scored 17650 runs in 469 matches with 13 centuries and took 834 wickets at an average of 28.63.
After his retirement in 1972, Walker turned to broadcasting, He was also the chief executive of the England and Wales Cricket Board in 1996 and went on to be President of Glomorgan County Cricket Club from 2009 to 2010.
