Hasan Jamil played Six One-day International for Pakistan. He made his one-day debut against England at Zafar Ali Stadium Sahiwal on December 23, 1977, scoring 20 runs and did not bowl. Hasan was also part of Asif Iqbal’s 1979 World Cup squad, but did not play any match.
In his first class career, Hasan Jamil scored 4230 runs with four centuries and took 204 wickets with his left-arm pace bowling.
He played for PIA and after retiring from the national carrier was working as the General Manager Cricket at the Arabian Sea Country Club. Former Pakistan's international cricketer Hasan Jamil died of cardiac arrest in 2015.
