England have won the four-match Test series 3–1 on Monday. England defeated South Africa by 191 runs in the last Test played in Johannesburg. The South Africa team, chasing a target of 466 runs, was reduced to 274 runs. Mark Wood was adjudged Man of the Match for his brilliant performance in the match, while Ben Stokes was awarded the Man of the Series title.
Earlier, South Africa's first innings was reduced to just 183 runs in response to England's first innings 400. The entire team of South Africa collapsed in the first innings. Six wickets had fallen on the score of 88 runs.
After this, wicketkeeper batsman Quinton de Kock handled the innings and played a brilliant innings of 76 runs. Apart from this, Dwaine Pretorius scored 37 runs. For England, Mark Wood took five wickets in the first innings.
In the second innings, England's captain Joe Root (58), Dom Sibley (44), Ben Stokes (28) and Sam Karan scored 35 runs to take the team's score to 248. Beuran Hendricks took five wickets for South Africa in the second innings.
In the second innings, Rassie van der Dussen scored the highest 98 runs for South Africa. In addition, Quinton de Kock contributed 39, Faf du Plessis contributed 35 runs. Mark Wood took four wickets for England in the second innings while Broad and Stokes took two wickets respectively.
