According to a report by the Bangladesh newspaper Dhaka Tribunal, a total of 27 players of Bangladesh cricket team together have taken a noble decision among themselves. The 17 players in the Bangladesh Cricket Board's annual contract and 10 other players excluded have decided to donate their half-month salaries to the corona of Corona-infected people.
A joint statement in this matter has been issued by the players. This statement said, the whole world is fighting an epidemic like corona virus. The growing threat of coronavirus has also reached Bangladesh. All of us cricketers are trying to make people aware of what are the necessary measures to stay safe from this epidemic.
It was further said that a total of 27 players have decided to donate their half-month salary to help fight the corona virus. After excluding tax, this amount will be around 25 lakhs.
Former India opener Gautam Gambhir has announced to give 50 lakh rupees from his MP fund to the Delhi government to deal with the Corona virus. At the same time, the Bengal Cricket Association has also decided to give an amount of Rs 25 lakh to help.
