Liton Das (60 *) unbeaten half-century innings helped Bangladesh beat Zimbabwe by nine wickets in the second T20 match on Wednesday. With this, the Bangladesh team won the two-match T20 series.
Zimbabwe scored 119 for the loss of seven wickets while batting first in this match played at the Shere Bangla Stadium in Dhaka. In response, Bangladesh won the match with 25 balls remaining after losing just one wicket. Al-Amin Hossain and Mustafizur Rahman took 2–2 wickets each from Bangladesh.
Apart from Liton, Mohammad Naeem scored 33 and Soumya Sarkar unbeaten scored 20. Liton Das was adjudged both man of the match and series for his brilliant performance in the match and throughout the series.
