Players from both team New Zealand and South Africa are being the hot shots in the recently ongoing players auction for IPL. But, there are also players who could not make good inroads into the deals. From South Africa, Kagiso Rabada reaching nearly 10 million and Trent Boult, the Aussie, breaking in to similar figures are top choices for IPL franchises. While, Imran Tahir, Ish Sodhi and Ross Taylor did not attract the teams. In the auction, the player’s instances in the ongoing series between New Zealand and South Africa is also of much significance. The pressure is on New Zealand as the team as already lost the first match. They cannot afford to lose another in a row.
The match in Hamilton could have been a victory for New Zealand, but Chris Morris was stronger when he restricted those winning runs from flowing out of his hands apart from striking out their wickets. For South Africa, it was their 12th consecutive victory. It was quite apparent in the match that the visitors did not play invincible, but it was the odds from New Zealand that made them better. New Zealand, on the other hand displayed some tightness, but it required a little more discipline is bowling. The series is going to get harder for both, as it is also a prequel to the forthcoming Champions Trophy, where much difficult teams will arrive.
In New Zealand Team, players like Tom Latham has been through a low form. Although he has been a striking batsman, a bleak performance might create further trouble for the team. South Africa bowler like Imran Tahir has a good chance to come back as he could not knock down wickets in the early match as he does in general. New Zealand is now trying to par with South Africa by boosting the bowling attack. Ish Sodhi will be the extra spinner in this match. Meanwhile, South Africa is still uncertain about David Miller. The team should go for all-rounder options and they are doing it.
