Mumbai Indian did not have a strong start in IPL 2018 tournament as they faced three defeats so far. With this tally, it has a little room to make further mistake in its game plan. The team must take a cautious approach to the upcoming fixture against Royal Challengers Bangalore at their home ground. The team would definitely have the advantage of their home venue, but Royal Challengers is getting better after each game they played. They lost two matches so far, still better than Mumbai Indians, but their win against Kings XI Punjab was impressive.
Mumbai Indians played in the tournament with a worrisome batting form so far. There in their previous match, the players exposed a wobbly batting order. Batsmen in the team seem to have misplaced their strategy to wreak up heavy strikes. While trying to score big runs, they kept on repeating the mistakes, hence losing their wickets. Mumbai Indians lost important IPL matches and it would have to pay heavily in latter stages of the tournament. Being title winners, it is the right time for the team change what ever they can to start winning matches.
On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings is with their won shortcomings. Their bowling has been the troublemaker for the season. In the early matches against Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals, their bowling slackened considerably handing brining out targets as high as 177 and 217. The result was faced by an out of proportion batting lineup, that surrendered in the both the campaigns.
The upcoming match with feature Hardik Pandya again, as the player is fit after an ankle injury. On the opposite side, Yuzvendra Chahal would again bowl was the real troublemaker against Rohit Sharma. Being a right arm leg-spinner, he is a natural danger for the Mumbai striker. In the last 28 IPL innings, Rohit Sharma was dismissed nine time with this particular attack. Still, there are also similar remedy for Mumbai Indians Virat Kohli. Mitchell McClenaghan has been a trouble for the skipper.
