Gill, who thought it was an away swinger, shouldered his arms, ball came back in as it was a wobble seam and hit on his knee roll. Gill knew it was plumb and so did umpire Nitin Menon. He has a short chat with Rohit about the review, but the latter advised him not to take.
Olly Stone had replaced the fiery Jofra Archer, who was ruled out of the second Test after taking an injection on his elbow. Olly Stone is well known for his pace and thus, became a like-for-like replacement for Archer. It will be interesting to see how Indian batsmen will face the heat of Stone.
India have to deal with an early blow and the fans' dream of getting a good start is demolished by Stone. India's rock Cheteshwar Pujara has walked in and will look to steady the ship with Rohit Sharma, who has a big role to play as his partner is dismissed early on.
