Rohit Sharma is dismissed and it's England's best all-rounder Ben Stokes who gets the wicket. India were having the upper hand after first 10 overs so Eoin Morgan turned to Ben Stokes for the wicket and he delivered.
Stokes bowled this wide and short, luring Rohit into hitting the ball. Rohit gets surprised by the width and bounce and pokes that one to the keeper. England get the wicket against the run of play.
Virat Kohli's drought with the toss continued as Eoin Morgan again won the toss and elected to field first. Kohli, however, was delighted to bat first as he said they had 'different plans'. England welcomed Moeen Ali back into the side after dropping him for all five T20Is.
India, on the other hand, decided to stick with KL Rahul as an opener, dropping Rishabh Pant. Two bowlers, Krunal Pandya and Prasidh Krishna were handed their India caps before the match.
Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan started the innings watchfully as Mark Wood and Sam Curran were getting bounce and swing early on. The duo scored just 10 runs from the first 5 overs.
England fielders were spot on since the start. They were diving at the right time and hitting the stumps directly. They had kept Rohit and Shikhar in check in the first 8 overs but Rohit broke shackles, hitting Wood for two consecutive fours in the 9th over.
