“Happy birthday to the person who steals my heart everyday. You’re my person, I love you,” Bumrah tweeted on Thursday.
Seeing the post, Jimmy Neesham, who played his debut match for Mumbai Indians this season and with Jasprit Bumrah, posted a funny comment, trolling the fast-bowler. He wrote: “Thought you were talking about @trrrent_ for a minute”, referring to their MI teammate Trent Boult.
Trent Boult was acquired by Mumbai Indians through a trade from Delhi Capitals and since then, he has proved to be the best bowler in the powerplay. His ability to swing the ball early both ways has resulted in him giving flying starts to Mumbai Indians, with Bumrah finishing the job at the death. This year, Bumrah wasn’t among the wickets, but he was as always, economical with the ball. However, the wicket taking responsibility was taken by Trent Boult and the duo seemed to be complimenting each other very well.
Along with Neesham, Mumbai Indians’ official account also posted a birthday wish for Sanjana. Here’s the post:
