A celebrity Football match was played between All Hearts FC and All Stars FC on October 15. Virat Kohli headed the All Hearts team, while on the other side was Ranbir Kapoor. The match was a charity initiative backed by stars like Amitabh Bachchan. It was reported that MS Dhoni was the brain behind the game to back the cricketers team. Virat Kohli said Dhoni was planning and preparing the tactics for the match. He said Dhoni was very excited about the game. Such an evert was also organized in 2016. The match was draw that season at 2-2 for both the sides.
Previous year, cricketers like Lokesh Rahul, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan, Umesh Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin and MS Dhoni played. In the season, Virat Kohli's foundation collaborated with Abhishek Bachchan's initiative under the flagship of "Playing for Humanity."
The match is a charity initiative. The revenue collection will be sent to the charity organization run by Virat Kohli and Amitabh Bachchan. The match was played at Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai.
